On November 14, 2025, in Los Angeles, CA, a bicyclist was fatally struck in a hit-and-run accident in South Park, South Los Angeles, as reported by the Los Angeles Police Department. The incident occurred at approximately 7:25 p.m. in the 700 block of East Vernon Avenue, located between Avalon Boulevard and McKinley Avenue. Officers who responded found the cyclist unresponsive on the road. Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department were summoned to the location and unfortunately declared the victim dead at the scene. Officials have not disclosed the identity of the deceased, as they are waiting to inform their relatives. Witnesses at the location claimed to have seen a motorcycle leaving the area soon after the accident. No additional details about the vehicle or driver are currently available. LAPD investigators are actively seeking the suspect and encourage anyone with information about the incident to reach out.
