South Los Angeles experienced a hit-and-run accident on November 12, 2025, resulting in one person sustaining injuries near the location of 4376 S Vermont Ave. The event happened around 4:36 a.m. As per the local emergency dispatch reports, first responders arrived at the scene to discover the victim injured. Emergency medical technicians administered swift aid, but the severity of the injuries remains undisclosed. The motorist fled the area prior to the arrival of law enforcement. Law enforcement is currently looking into the incident and is trying to find and identify the vehicle involved.
