Orinda, CA (October 25, 2025) – On Saturday night, a traffic accident resulting in injuries occurred on the eastbound lane of CA-24, just west of Camino Pablo in Orinda. The accident happened around 9:51 PM. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that this resulted in lane closures and considerable traffic delays on the freeway. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene to help those injured and to ensure the area was safe. Although the precise number of injured individuals has not been verified, officials reported that medical teams were sent to administer treatment at the location. The extent of the injuries is currently unclear. The accident caused traffic delays while teams worked to remove the wrecked cars and initiate an official inquiry. Several eastbound lanes were impacted, leading to traffic delays for motorists moving through the Contra Costa County area late on Saturday night. Authorities have not disclosed information about the cause of the accident, and the number of vehicles involved remains uncertain.
