Napa County, CA (September 25, 2025) – A significant traffic accident resulting in injuries led to a complete closure of CA-12 in both lanes on Wednesday evening close to Ramal Rd, in the unincorporated area of Napa County. The California Highway Patrol reported that the incident took place shortly before 6:11 p.m. In the eastbound and westbound lanes of CA-12, just west of Ramal Rd., emergency personnel quickly responded after the collision was reported and verified that at least one individual had been injured. Consequently, all lanes of CA-12 were shut down in both directions to facilitate rescue efforts, investigate the accident, and clear the roadway. Officials have not revealed the number of vehicles involved or the circumstances leading to the accident. Emergency personnel provided care to the injured individuals at the scene before organizing their transfer to a local hospital for additional medical assessment. The severity of the injuries has not yet been officially disclosed. Traffic authorities have released a strong advisory recommending that all motorists steer clear of the area and look for alternative paths as the cleanup and investigation proceeded late into the evening.
