Chula Vista, CA (September 12, 2025) – A late afternoon traffic accident on Thursday near Mar Media Parkway and Zavainita Caprize resulted in at least one injury and prompted a multi-agency emergency response, as reported by local police and fire officials. The incident took place around 5:24 PM in a residential district of Chula Vista. Emergency units from Chula Vista Police and Fire, including Truck 57 and medical response teams, were sent to the location after receiving reports of an accident with injuries. Upon their arrival, paramedics assessed the people involved and provided immediate medical assistance to the wounded. One individual was taken to a local hospital for additional medical care. Information about the seriousness of the injuries has not been revealed. Officials acted quickly to secure the site and reroute traffic as they cleared the scene. The accident led to short-term disruptions in the nearby area while authorities carried out their investigation. The reason behind the crash is still being thoroughly examined.
