Incidents of hit-and-run accidents, such as the one reported on Hart Street, are alarmingly frequent and troubling throughout California, especially in major metropolitan regions like Los Angeles. Such events result in victims experiencing not just physical injuries but also emotional distress, frequently without prompt options for help. When drivers abandon the site of an accident, it complicates matters further, affecting access to medical care, insurance claims, and possible legal proceedings.
