San Diego, CA (September 7, 2025) – On Saturday afternoon, a traffic accident resulting in injuries was reported near Laning Road, in proximity to the Homewood Suites San Diego Airport and Liberty Station. The event took place around 4:39 PM. This incident triggered a response from Engine 22 and additional nearby emergency teams. The collision occurred close to the crossing of North Harbor Dr and Patna Ln, which is a bustling location with hotels, eateries, and attractions. Emergency response teams operated on EMS channels “7 Hotel” and “7 India” to handle the situation and evaluate injuries from the accident. While complete information is not currently available, it has been confirmed that at least one individual was injured and needed medical assistance. The investigation is still ongoing regarding the severity of the injuries and the total number of vehicles that were involved. Traffic in the vicinity was briefly interrupted as workers helped the injured and cleared the area. The San Diego Police Department and fire officials are still looking into the circumstances surrounding the accident. It has not yet been determined if factors like speed, driver mistake, or traffic jams contributed to the situation.
