A traffic collision was reported on the southbound I-405 near the Nordhoff Street off-ramp on October 2, 2026. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a collision without reported injuries in the West Valley area.
The crash location was described as the southbound 405 just north of Nordhoff Street. CHP dispatch information did not identify the vehicles involved or provide details about damage or roadway closures.
At approximately 3:31 p.m., the reporting party contacted dispatch again to request an estimated arrival time. The update indicated that a CHP unit was en route when available, but no estimated arrival time was provided.
The dispatch record continued to list the collision as a no-injury incident. It did not document any ambulance response, fire department activity, tow request, lane blockage or additional injuries.
