A hit-and-run incident with no reported injuries was reported at 11:02 p.m. Sept. 16 on eastbound Interstate 10 near Indian Canyon in the Indio area. The location was identified as mile marker 34.
The incident occurred on the eastbound side of I-10 at the Indian Canyon area. California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a hit-and-run involving no reported injuries.
At 11:07 p.m., CHP dispatch reported a yellow tractor-trailer on the right shoulder. The dispatch information did not provide additional vehicle descriptions or identify another vehicle involved.
The available CHP information did not report lane closures, medical transport or additional injuries. No further developments were listed in the dispatch updates.
