A traffic collision was reported shortly after midnight Sept. 4 on westbound Interstate 40 at East Main Street in Barstow, California. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a collision with no reported injuries.
The crash was logged at approximately 12:38 a.m. at the interchange involving westbound I-40 and East Main Street. CHP’s dispatch information did not identify the vehicles involved or describe any roadway blockage.
No ambulance, fire department response or other emergency medical assistance was listed in the available CHP information. The dispatch record also did not indicate that anyone was trapped or required transportation for injuries.
A subsequent CHP update was entered at approximately 1:56 a.m. The available record did not provide additional publicly usable details about the vehicles, traffic effects or circumstances of the collision.
