A collision involving a semi-truck was reported early Friday on eastbound State Route 91 west of Pierce Street in Riverside County. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as involving unknown injuries.
The crash was reported at approximately 1:42 a.m. on September 4, 2026. CHP dispatch information placed the incident on the eastbound side of the highway near the Pierce Street area.
A later CHP update, issued at about 2:15 a.m., stated that a vehicle was off the roadway at Pierce Street and involved with the semi-truck. The dispatch information did not specify the number of vehicles beyond the semi-truck and the vehicle referenced in the update.
CHP did not provide additional information about injuries, roadway closures or traffic delays in the available dispatch updates. The available information also did not identify the circumstances that led to the collision.
