A traffic collision was reported early Sept. 4 on State Route 2 near Table Mountain Road in Los Angeles County. The California Highway Patrol received the initial report at 1:52 a.m., with an ambulance dispatched to the scene.
The collision location was initially listed at the intersection of State Route 2 and Table Mountain Road. No information was provided about the number or types of vehicles involved.
A subsequent CHP update placed the incident approximately one mile west of Flume Canyon Road on State Route 2. The update was recorded at 2:06 a.m. as the response continued.
CHP dispatch information did not specify whether anyone was injured, whether lanes were blocked or whether vehicles required towing. The incident was handled by the agency’s Los Angeles Communications Center area.
