Five vehicles were involved in a collision on northbound Interstate 215 south of Cactus Avenue on Aug. 23, 2026. The incident was reported at approximately 3:22 p.m. within the Riverside California Highway Patrol area.
CHP classified the incident as a traffic collision with no reported injuries. The dispatch information did not indicate that anyone required medical treatment.
A CHP update issued at 3:23 p.m. stated that all five vehicles were driveable. The update did not describe any overturned vehicles, fires or other unusual hazards at the scene.
The available dispatch information placed the collision on northbound I-215 south of Cactus Avenue. It did not list lane closures, blocked lanes, towing activity or additional emergency response.
