Riverside, CA (January 24, 2026) – A collision involving two vehicles caused injuries Friday evening at the Pierce St and Collett Ave intersection in Riverside, leading to an emergency response from local fire and medical teams. The incident happened around 6:00 p.m. It occurred on January 23 and featured a white Toyota Sienna and a red sedan. Early reports indicated potential entrapment, prompting a full rescue response with Engine 8, Truck 2, Battalion 2, and American Medical Response units. On scene, firefighters verified moderate damage to both vehicles but confirmed no one was trapped. Paramedics provided medical care to one injured individual discovered at the scene. The details and extent of the injuries were not revealed, though the incident was rapidly contained. Once it was confirmed that the remaining crews could manage the incident, additional responding units were canceled. Police were notified and are expected to arrive at the scene to help with traffic control and the continuing investigation.
