Irvine, CA (May 28, 2026) – A 95-year-old woman was killed in a three-vehicle collision Tuesday morning at the intersection of Irvine Center Drive and Valley Oak Drive. Police reported that the crash occurred at approximately 9:12 a.m. near the Oak Creek Golf Club neighborhood. According to investigators, the woman was behind the wheel of a Toyota RAV4 and ran a red light as she entered the intersection. A Dodge Ram and a Tesla Model 3 were driving through the intersection on a green light when a Toyota collided with the Dodge, shoving the truck into the Tesla. The elderly female driver was transported to a hospital but later succumbed to her injuries. The other drivers involved were not reported to have been injured. The woman’s name has not been made public as her family has yet to be notified. Investigators are still collecting details as the probe into the crash advances.
