(San Diego, CA) On Thursday evening, December 11, a 26-year-old woman was hospitalized following a crash on Montezuma Road in the College East neighborhood. The incident took place around 5:17 p.m. in the 6500 block of Montezuma Road, just north of El Cajon Boulevard. According to police, the woman crossed from south to north in the middle of the block. At that time, a 28-year-old man operating an eastbound Honda Accord collided with her in lane one. The victim suffered multiple severe injuries, such as fractures to her hip, pelvis, sacrum, and femur, plus a major head laceration. Doctors assessed her injuries as non-life-threatening. The SDPD Traffic Division is investigating the incident and urges anyone with information to contact police or Crime Stoppers. Montezuma Road Crash Overview.
