Long Beach, CA (January 5, 2026) – The California Highway Patrol reports that a woman was hurt Friday afternoon in a two-car crash near Lakewood Boulevard and Carson Street in Long Beach. The incident happened around 3:40 p.m. on January 4 and involved a Toyota sedan and another vehicle. The precise cause of the crash is still unconfirmed, and the manner in which the two vehicles collided remains unknown. Emergency personnel reached the site and discovered a female driver unconscious within one of the vehicles. She was rapidly stabilized and taken to a nearby hospital for additional assessment. Her current condition remains undisclosed. Traffic in the area was disrupted as first responders provided aid at the scene and cleared the road.
