On October 27, 2025, in Whittier, California, a young individual on a scooter suffered injuries after being hit by a car at the Broadway and Mills Avenue intersection, as reported by the California Highway Patrol. The accident happened around 7:15 a.m. and included a passenger car and a young person riding a scooter. Emergency personnel from the Los Angeles County Fire Department and Norwalk Station arrived at the location to assist. The severity of the child’s injuries has not been disclosed, but the incident led to a medical response classified under a 1141 injury code. Officials have not revealed the details surrounding the crash. The investigation into the event is still active.
