A white Honda HR-V and a white Ford pickup truck were involved in a collision on northbound Interstate 5 near North Hollywood Way on Aug. 27, 2026. The crash was reported at approximately 3:55 p.m., according to California Highway Patrol dispatch information.
The vehicles were located on the northbound side of the freeway, just south of North Hollywood Way. CHP listed the incident as a traffic collision with injuries unknown.
A reporting party told CHP that it was unclear whether anyone in the other vehicle had been injured. The dispatch information did not identify any confirmed injuries or provide details about medical treatment.
The incident was handled through the CHP Altadena area. The available dispatch record did not report a lane closure, traffic blockage, vehicle fire, or tow request.
