A white Ford Transit and a white Chevrolet Malibu were involved in a traffic collision on State Route 43 at Elmo in California on Aug. 15, 2026. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a collision with no reported injuries.
The crash was recorded at approximately 1:50 p.m. near the Elmo crossing on State Route 43. CHP’s Bakersfield area handled the dispatch information.
The dispatch identified the vehicles as a white Ford Transit and a white Chevrolet Malibu. No other vehicles were listed in the report.
CHP’s incident classification indicated that no injuries were reported. The available dispatch entry did not include additional information about roadway closures, vehicle damage or towing activity.
