A traffic collision was reported on westbound Interstate 80 at the Treasure Island on-ramp in San Francisco at about 3:58 p.m. on Aug. 22, 2026. An ambulance was reported en route to the scene.
The incident occurred on westbound I-80 near the Treasure Island on-ramp, an area identified in the dispatch as westbound 80 at Treasure Island. The California Highway Patrol’s San Francisco area handled the response.
A later CHP update at about 4:58 p.m. stated that a vehicle associated with the incident was moving to an area office. The update indicated that the roadway was clear.
The dispatch did not provide additional information about injuries, the number of vehicles involved or the circumstances of the collision. No lane closure was reported in the final update.
