Several vehicles were involved in a collision on eastbound State Route 4 near the Pacheco Boulevard off-ramp on Aug. 21, 2026, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch information. The crash was reported shortly before 4 p.m., with an ambulance listed as en route.
The collision occurred just west of Pacheco Boulevard, and the involved vehicles were reported in the center divider. A CHP update noted that the vehicles could be seen from the westbound side of the highway.
The dispatch information did not provide a confirmed injury count or describe the vehicles involved. It also did not indicate that anyone was trapped or report a fire.
A towing service was requested to remove or recover the vehicles from the center divider. The available CHP information did not specify how long the vehicles remained at the location or whether traffic lanes were closed.
