A traffic collision was reported shortly after midnight Sept. 4 on northbound Interstate 5 at Colorado Boulevard in California. The California Highway Patrol listed the incident as involving unknown injuries.
The crash was reported at approximately 12:39 a.m. at the freeway interchange. CHP provided no additional information about the vehicles involved or the circumstances of the collision.
A later dispatch update at about 1:55 a.m. stated that a vehicle from the incident was in tow. The update did not specify whether the vehicle had been removed from the freeway or identify the towing provider.
The incident was handled within the CHP Central Los Angeles area. No further details about injuries, lane closures or traffic restrictions were included in the available dispatch information.
