A possible traffic collision involving metal debris was reported Sunday evening on westbound Interstate 10 near Neighbours Boulevard in the Blythe area. The incident was logged at about 5:42 p.m. on Oct. 18, 2026.
The reported location was near mile marker 149 on westbound I-10, west of Neighbours Boulevard. CHP classified the incident as a collision with unknown injuries.
A subsequent dispatch update at about 5:45 p.m. stated that a vehicle may have collided with metal debris in the roadway. The available information did not identify the vehicle or describe its position after the reported incident.
CHP dispatch information did not provide further details about injuries, traffic restrictions, emergency medical response or the source of the debris.
