A vehicle was found overturned about 150 feet down a hillside near Mariposa Creek Road and Bear Canyon Road in California on Aug. 30, 2026. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a traffic collision and reported that an ambulance was en route.
The collision was first logged at approximately 3:56 p.m. in the CHP Ukiah area. Three minutes later, dispatch information stated that a reporting party searching for their father found the vehicle at the bottom of the hillside.
The vehicle was resting on its roof when it was discovered. The available CHP information did not identify the vehicle or specify how many people may have been involved.
CHP did not provide an injury status or a later update on the vehicle’s occupants. The dispatch information also did not include a final scene disposition.
