A traffic collision with unknown injuries was reported at Corral de Tierra and State Route 68 in Monterey County on Nov. 5, 2026, at about 3:45 p.m. The California Highway Patrol logged the incident in its Monterey area.
The dispatch location was identified as Corral de Tierra at State Route 68. CHP did not provide information about the vehicles involved or describe the circumstances of the collision.
About six minutes after the initial report, CHP dispatch noted that the sheriff’s office had been contacted to check the scene. The update indicated that the agency would begin preparing equipment.
The available dispatch information did not state whether anyone was transported for medical treatment, whether lanes were blocked, or whether a tow truck was needed. The report continued to list the injury status as unknown.
