Two vehicles collided with an exit sign on westbound Interstate 580 near the Castro Valley Boulevard off-ramp in California at about 3:43 p.m. on Oct. 12, 2026. The location was identified as the westbound freeway at Castro Valley Boulevard, near Exit 37.
The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a traffic collision involving no reported injuries. Dispatch information indicated that both vehicles were associated with the exit-sign impact.
