A no-injury traffic collision was reported at about 10:30 a.m. Sept. 24, 2026, on northbound Interstate 5 just south of Gorman School Road in California. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a traffic collision without reported injuries.
CHP dispatch information indicated that two vehicles were involved. Both vehicles had stopped on the right-hand shoulder of the freeway after the collision.
A subsequent dispatch update said the reporting party described a semi-truck as blocked in at the scene. The information did not specify whether the truck was disabled or detail the extent of damage to either vehicle.
The incident was handled within the CHP’s Fort Tejon area. No injuries, lane closures or additional emergency response were reported in the available dispatch information.
