A traffic collision involving two vehicles was reported along southbound State Route 99 near the west off-ramp for Mack Road on Aug. 27, 2026. The California Highway Patrol listed the incident as involving unknown injuries.
The crash was reported at approximately 3:54 p.m. in the area identified by CHP as southbound 99 near the Mack Road west off-ramp. A dispatch update entered shortly before that time provided additional information about the vehicles’ position.
Both vehicles had been moved to the right-hand shoulder, according to CHP. The available dispatch information did not identify the vehicle makes, models or colors.
CHP’s South Sacramento Freeway Service Patrol area handled the incident information. The dispatch record did not provide further details about injuries, emergency medical treatment or the circumstances of the collision.
