A collision involving two vehicles was reported Aug. 28 in the McDonald’s parking area on Richards Boulevard in California. The incident was first logged at approximately 3:03 p.m., with injuries listed as unknown in the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The vehicles were identified as a brown Nissan Sentra and a black Lexus. CHP’s location description placed the crash at the McDonald’s plot near 200 Richards Boulevard.
A dispatch update entered at about 3:19 p.m. confirmed that the two vehicles were involved in the collision. The available information did not specify whether either vehicle was occupied beyond the involved drivers or whether anyone required medical care.
The incident was handled through the CHP’s South Sacramento area. The dispatch information did not report lane closures, roadway blockage, a fire, an overturned vehicle or a request for towing assistance.
