A two-vehicle collision was reported Aug. 19 on southbound U.S. 101 just south of the Oregon Expressway on-ramp in the Redwood City area. The incident was first logged at 3:47 p.m., and no injuries were reported.
The crash location was described as southbound 101 just south of Oregon Expressway. CHP identified the incident as involving two vehicles but did not provide additional descriptions of the vehicles or the circumstances of the collision.
A CHP update issued at 3:59 p.m. continued to classify the incident as a collision without injuries. The dispatch information did not report lane closures, blocked lanes, or other roadway restrictions.
Freeway Service Patrol assistance was not needed, according to the update. No tow or recovery response was requested in the available CHP information.
