A traffic collision involving two Toyota cars was reported Tuesday afternoon on eastbound Interstate 80 just west of the 8th Street on-ramp. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a collision with injuries unknown.
The crash was reported at approximately 3:25 p.m. on September 22, 2026. The location was identified as eastbound I-80 near the 8th Street on-ramp in San Francisco, California.
A CHP update one minute later indicated that both Toyota vehicles were being moved toward the right-hand shoulder. A semitrailer truck was also reported attempting to reach the right-hand shoulder.
