(Lebec, CA) Two juveniles died and a driver was taken into custody following a crash on the Golden State Freeway on Christmas Day near Vista Del Lago Road. CHP officers arrived just before 3 p.m. On Thursday, December 25, they discovered a gold Toyota RAV4 in the median and a blue Nissan Rogue in the crash. Initial findings suggest the Nissan driver lost control and collided with the rear of the Toyota. Consequently, the crash threw three juveniles out of the Nissan. Even with life-saving attempts, two children perished at the scene. Officials took the driver, Jorge Preciado, into custody on suspicion of felony child endangerment.
