(Fresno, CA) On Friday night, November 21, two individuals were taken to the hospital after a three-vehicle accident on Weber Avenue in northwest Fresno. The Fresno Police Department reported that a California Highway Patrol unit encountered the scene just before 10:30 p.m. at the crossroads of Weber and Valentine Avenues. The CHP subsequently passed the investigation to Fresno police, since it was within their jurisdiction. Investigators indicated that one driver seemed responsible for the accident after their vehicle struck two others. The driver with minor injuries was brought to a nearby hospital for possible DUI suspicion by paramedics. Additionally, first responders transported another driver involved in the accident to the hospital for pain management. The third driver did not need medical treatment. Fresno police did not provide any further information. They are requesting that anyone who saw the accident reach out to the Fresno Police Department at 559-621-7000.
