Sun Valley, CA (May 30, 2026) – A motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash early Thursday morning near the intersection of Bradley Street and Tuxford Avenue. The deadly collision occurred around 4:20 a.m. on May 28. Investigators reported that a white 2017 Freightliner Cascadia was heading north on Bradley Street and started turning left into a private business driveway. Police said the rider, who is believed to be about 30 years old, tried to overtake the truck on its left side while the turn was underway. The motorcycle collided with the truck, and the rider was killed instantly. The individual’s identity was not disclosed by the time the article was published. According to reports, the truck continued driving into the business premises after the crash without stopping to render aid. A 64-year-old man was subsequently arrested in relation to the incident. Investigators are still working to identify all the factors that led to the crash. We offer our deepest condolences to the family and friends grieving this loss.
