Tracy, CA (December 11, 2025) – A collision involving a concrete truck, a box truck, and a semi-truck on westbound Interstate 205 near West Grant Line Road in San Joaquin County caused significant traffic backups and seriously injured one person Wednesday morning, the California Highway Patrol reported. The crash happened around 8:50 a.m. , when a box truck reportedly rear-ended a semi-truck. The crash caused the semi-truck’s trailer to flip over, leading to a major spill and the temporary shutdown of lanes No. 2 and 3. CHP-shared photos depicted a tipped-over concrete truck with fluid leaking along the shoulder, raising worries about hazardous materials. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, evaluated it for any environmental or safety hazards. The box truck driver suffered serious injuries and was rushed to receive immediate medical care. Officials have yet to disclose further information regarding the driver’s condition. As of 4:00 p.m. All lanes were reopened after cleanup and investigation. Traffic in the area was severely disrupted for most of the day. The California Highway Patrol continues to probe the crash’s cause, including possible roles of speed, following distance, or mechanical issues.
