A three-vehicle collision was reported Saturday evening on the northbound I-405 transition to southbound State Route 55 in the Santa Ana area. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a traffic collision with no reported injuries.
The vehicles involved were a black Ford Bronco, a black Tesla Cybertruck and a gray Honda CR-V. CHP dispatch information indicated that all three vehicles were involved in the collision.
The crash was reported in the roadway on the transition connecting northbound I-405 with southbound SR-55. The available dispatch information did not indicate a closure or specify the extent of any traffic disruption.
CHP received the report at approximately 7:51 p.m. on Aug. 15, 2026, with a follow-up detail entered two minutes later. No injuries were reported in the dispatch information.
