Three individuals sustained injuries Thursday afternoon, November 13, in a vehicle collision on Ramon Road at a busy intersection in Palm Springs, according to officials. The Palm Springs Police Department reported that the accident took place shortly after noon at the intersection of Ramon Road and El Placer Road. First responders arrived at the scene where they discovered two severely damaged cars with numerous injured passengers inside. One individual was reported to be in critical condition, while two others experienced injuries that were not as serious. According to the police, it seems that drugs and alcohol were not involved in the accident. The Traffic Division of the department is still looking into the reason for the collision. Authorities temporarily shut down both lanes of East Ramon Road between El Placer Road and Paseo Dorotea as investigators worked to document the scene and clear debris.
