(Fresno, CA) On Tuesday evening, January 20, three individuals were hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision at a bustling McKinley Avenue intersection, where a driver disregarded a red light. Fresno police reported that officers arrived on scene around 11:20 p.m. Responded to the intersection of McKinley Avenue and Peach Avenue following reports of a two-vehicle collision. Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered both vehicles damaged in the intersection after the collision. Investigators stated that initial findings suggest one driver ran a red light and collided with the other car passing through the intersection. Both drivers stayed at the scene and cooperated with police during the investigation. Paramedics assessed the occupants and took three individuals to nearby hospitals, including both drivers and one passenger. Police reported that all three suffered minor injuries. Authorities withheld the names and ages of the individuals involved. Officers confirmed that neither alcohol nor drugs contributed to the crash.
