A three-vehicle collision was reported at 3:49 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, on northbound Interstate 680 just south of Sycamore Valley Road in California. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a collision with no reported injuries.
The crash location was identified near the Sycamore Valley Road off-ramp. CHP dispatch information indicated that all three vehicles were driveable after the collision.
A CHP update issued one minute later, at 3:50 p.m., confirmed the vehicle status. The available dispatch information did not report any trapped occupants or emergency medical response.
The dispatch record also did not identify a lane closure or indicate that the vehicles were blocking the freeway. No additional roadway restrictions or towing activity were documented in the available CHP updates.
