A collision with injuries listed as unknown was reported at 3:31 p.m. Aug. 28 on southbound U.S. 101 near the westbound State Route 92 connector. The location was identified by the California Highway Patrol as southbound 101 near the SR 92 westbound connection in the Redwood City area.
A later CHP dispatch update at 3:57 p.m. placed the involved vehicle on the right-hand shoulder of southbound U.S. 101. The available information did not indicate that the vehicle was blocking a travel lane.
CHP did not provide details about the number of vehicles involved or their makes, models or colors. The dispatch also did not specify whether anyone was transported for medical treatment.
