A traffic collision was reported Wednesday afternoon on southbound State Route 99 at the Jack Tone Road south offramp. The incident occurred at approximately 2:52 p.m. on Aug. 19, 2026, in the Stockton area, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch information.
The collision was logged in the southbound lanes near the offramp. CHP classified the incident as a traffic collision with no reported injuries.
A dispatch update two minutes later stated that the reporting party’s vehicle or vehicles remained drivable. Another involved vehicle was reported to be leaking an unidentified fluid.
The available CHP information did not specify the vehicles’ makes, models or colors. It also did not document an ambulance or fire response, a lane closure or a towing request.
