A traffic collision on southbound Interstate 405 near the Harbor Boulevard off-ramp in Santa Ana was reported at about 7:42 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a collision with an ambulance en route.
The crash was reported in the southbound lanes near Harbor Boulevard. CHP dispatch information did not specify the number or types of vehicles involved.
By 8:08 p.m., two lanes were blocked at the scene. All other lanes remained open, according to a CHP update.
