A traffic collision was reported on southbound Interstate 405 near Getty Center Drive in the West Los Angeles area on Monday evening, Sept. 14, 2026. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a collision with no reported injuries.
The crash was initially recorded at approximately 5:55 p.m. in the area described as southbound I-405 just north of Getty Center Drive. CHP dispatch information did not identify the vehicles involved or report any lane closures.
A later dispatch update, issued at about 7:29 p.m., indicated that a tow operator had not yet been able to locate the driver. The update also sought a more precise location from responding personnel.
The available CHP information did not provide a cause for the collision or additional details about the vehicles. No injuries were reported in the incident classification.
