A traffic collision was reported Aug. 30 on southbound Interstate 280 just south of Geneva Avenue in California. The incident was logged at 12:42 p.m. and was classified by the California Highway Patrol as a collision with no injuries.
The crash location was identified near the southbound I-280 on-ramp at Geneva Avenue. The incident fell within the CHP’s San Francisco area.
CHP dispatch information did not identify the vehicles involved or report any lane closures, blocked lanes, ambulance response or fire department activity. No injuries were reported in the initial incident classification.
A later dispatch update, recorded at 2:39 p.m., concerned an administrative change to the incident record. The available CHP information did not provide additional details about the collision or any subsequent roadway impact.
