A hit-and-run collision with no reported injuries was reported at 6:46 p.m. Oct. 10 on southbound Interstate 15 at the Truck Bypass in the San Bernardino area. The incident location was also described in the dispatch as southbound I-15 near I-215.
The CHP classified the incident as a hit-and-run without injuries. The dispatch information identified a semi-truck driver as being involved, although it did not provide details about the other vehicle.
At 6:58 p.m., a CHP update stated that the semi-truck driver was refusing to exchange information. The update was the only subsequent detail recorded in the dispatch sequence.
CHP did not report any injuries, lane closures, vehicle damage, traffic blockage or towing activity in the available information. The dispatch also did not state whether the other vehicle remained at the scene.
