A traffic collision was reported at 3:34 p.m. Aug. 21 on the southbound 110 Freeway at West Century Boulevard in California. An ambulance was listed as en route to the scene, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch information.
By 3:49 p.m., CHP reported being at the location and finding vehicles in the freeway lanes. The dispatch update indicated that the collision was affecting the southbound roadway.
The update also referenced a Toyota Corolla and said a party associated with the vehicle was being taken off the freeway. The dispatch placed that activity near Imperial Highway and Flower Street.
CHP information did not provide a confirmed injury description or explain how the collision occurred. The available dispatch record documented the ambulance response, vehicles in the lanes and activity involving the Toyota Corolla after the initial report.
