A silver Hyundai Elantra and a dark gray Toyota Camry were involved in a traffic collision on northbound State Route 99 near Jno Mack Road in California on Aug. 17, 2026. The California Highway Patrol reported the incident at approximately 3:49 p.m.
The vehicles were located on the right-hand side of the northbound freeway, according to a CHP update issued shortly after the initial report. The dispatch identified both vehicles as part of the collision.
CHP classified the incident as a traffic collision with no reported injuries. The available dispatch information did not indicate that anyone required medical treatment.
The report placed the collision near the Jno Mack Road area along northbound State Route 99. No additional roadway closures, lane restrictions, towing requests or later developments were listed in the available CHP dispatch information.
