(Los Angeles, CA) On Monday, June 8833, around 7:10 in the evening. In the Vermont Vista neighborhood, a hit-and-run incident on Century Boulevard resulted in the death of 52-year-old Shawn Graham, as authorities attempted to secure the area and investigate the cause of the accident. The Los Angeles Police Department reported that the collision took place on Century Boulevard, just north of Wall Street. A Toyota Corolla from the years 1998 to 2002, heading west on Century, hit Graham, who was walking west in the road. The driver failed to halt and hit him, with the last sighting going north on Wall Street. Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department took Graham to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Authorities have not disclosed any information about the vehicle involved. Los Angeles City is providing a reward of as much as $50,000 for any information that helps identify, apprehend, and convict the driver. Authorities have called on anyone who may have information to reach out to the LAPD’s South Traffic Division or to provide an anonymous tip via Crime Stoppers. Investigators are actively examining surveillance videos, including those made public, to track down the suspect vehicle and its driver.
