A semi-truck was reported to have weaved into another vehicle during a hit-and-run incident on southbound Route 54 near mile marker 15 on Oct. 1, 2026. The incident was reported at approximately 4:35 p.m. in the California Highway Patrol’s Victorville area.
The reporting party told CHP that the semi-truck was traveling at an estimated 85 to 90 mph. The truck was also described as weaving into the reporting party’s vehicle before leaving the area.
CHP classified the incident as a hit-and-run with no injuries reported. The available dispatch information did not identify the other vehicle or provide further details about damage.
The report was updated at approximately 4:39 p.m. CHP did not provide additional information about the semi-truck’s direction after the incident or whether it was located.
